Start-Up Essentials with Laurie Bernard
This is a series of Business for London webinars delivered by Portobello Business Centre.
These FREE introductory webinars are for anyone thinking of starting a business and located in a London borough. The sessions will give you an overview of what’s involved in starting a business / working for yourself and help you clarify whether it’s the right route for you.
When: the “Start-Up Essentials” webinar is 1.5 hours long and will be delivered five times between May 2021 and April 2022, on the dates below (same content every time):
- Thursday 3rd June 2021 at 11am – 12.30pm
- Thursday 15th July 2021 at 11am – 12.30pm
- Thursday 23rd September 2021 at 11am – 12.30pm
- Thursday 18th November 2021 at 11am – 12.30pm
- Thursday 20th January 2022 at 11am – 12.30pm
Every session will cover:
- Developing your business idea
- Sources of finance
- Finding customers and promoting your business online
- Business structure & legal requirements
- How to access further advice and support to start and grow your business
