START-UPS – The Enterprise Club will give people who want to set up their own businesses the chance to share experiences and access professional advice that they might not otherwise be able to afford.

EXISTING BUSINESSES – an opportunity to network, gain knowledge from guest speakers, give their own presentation to members and have a support network.

‘Making social media work for your business’

Veronica Broomes is Managing Director of Excel Property Partners Ltd (EPPL). The company finds properties and package deals for property investors, both individuals and companies. Based in South East London, Veronica works closely with investors, estate agents and vendors to provide background research on property value and opportunities for greater value-added.

In addition, Veronica is a qualified and experienced Business Coach, Mentor and Trainer. Clients for whom she has undertaken work include Corporation of London’s City Business Library, Portobello Business Centre, English UK and Coventry University Business School.

Through her own business and with her business coaching clients, Veronica has first-hand experience of using social media in her business for over 10 years. Having effectively used Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook, Youtube and Google+, as well as listed on platforms such as Pinterest, Instagram, Weibo, WeChat and Tumbler, Veronica draws on a wealth of first-hand experience of using social media in business. This evening, she will talk about ‘Making social media work for your business’. Veronica will explore how you can use social media purposefully and share some useful tips on social media as a networking tool and an asset in your business.
