Previously he worked for Business Link Kent, based in West Malling serving clients located in Canterbury based on Tunbridge Wells amongst other towns within the county.
Earlier he worked for the then DTI under the Enterprise Initial Program headed up by Lord Young.
He has gained considerable experience in serving the needs of many businesses over the years.
Covering issues such as business planning, raising finance- equity and debt - and international trade.
Several of his clients have been successful in winning a prestigious Shell Sponsored Livewire awards including being nominated advisor of the year by Shell in the late ‘90s.
With an ever-changing working environment, Colin places special importance by keeping up to date by attending several course and seminars which assist in ensuring he gives his clients the best part of his service/advice
Outside of PBC is retained by the city business library to give advice for those requiring assistance in career development as well as preparing their CVs.
He currently runs the Enterprise Club on behalf of PBC proving regular speakers at suitable venues for those clients who are regular attendees at the by monthly meetings,
He also undertakes work on a monthly base at the City Business Library covering CVs and where appropriate career advice to individuals requiring assistance.
Outside of work his interest includes cricket and assisting several charities in their fundraising activities.
