Bill joined PBC in 2013 as a Director.
After his studies on engineering and business (McGill University (Montreal), Birmingham University, Cranfield University and Harvard Business School), he joined Lake & Elliot plc, a group of engineering companies with HQ in Essex. In 1973, he worked as a Senior Consultant at Knight Wegenstein, a Swiss/American consultancy company specialising in the foundry industry. 13 years later, he joined Ditton Consultants, the strategic consultancy company based in West London, as a Managing Partner.
Bill was connected with the Portobello Business Centre in the 1970s. He assisted Gill FitzHugh with some of the local organisations as well as Neil Johnston (previous CEO of the Portobello Business Centre) in setting up a group of external consultants to provide mentoring assistance to small businesses which were in their 'early yars'. Today, he continues to assist the PBC to support new and existing organisations to develop and grow in West London and to find methods of assisting the more underprivileged groups in the area.
